New Years Visits

After Christmas we had lots of fun visitors! Ryan and Jenny and the boys, and Gramp and Grammy came for a late Christmas celebration and visit. These girls are so lucky with their never ending holidays :)

We had a really fun family trip downtown with everyone! We had real soda fountain milk shakes, rode the trolley that Sky kept calling a "charlie", and we went to the Peabody to visit the ducks...

Savannah went into her closet and got dressed all by herself. A pajama shirt and baby tights.

Merry Christmas!

We had a great first Christmas in our new house! We were happy to have Daddy home for the whole day and spent the day playing with new toys and visiting with Gigi and Grandude. 

 Savannah wanted to leave Santa milk AND water. :)

Santa came!...Skylar asked Santa for new dollies and "glittering". Savannah asked for a space station :)

December Days

December was a long, busy month full of fun activities,visitors, sick kiddos, and Christmas Spirit :)

Savannah started preschool at her new school Hope Preschool. She loves it!!

Savannah pretending to take a nap at school. She loves that in her new school she gets to stay for lunch and rest time! And for the first time in four years, the girls are both in school for more than 3 hours! :)

First date night since we moved to Memphis!...so nice to have a Gigi babysitter in town!

We had a great, quick visit from Mimi and opened our Meece side of the family Christmas presents. Savannah later refereed to the entire weekend as Mimi's Christmas :) Unfortunately, Skylar was sick with some sort of stomach bug while Mimi was visiting, so she spent lots of time helping keeping up with sick laundry and playing with Savannah while we spent hours at the doctor.

Christmas Eve! Tyler was at work all day on Christmas Eve day, but we had a fun visit from KT and Matt and the kids. Then Christmas Eve night Gigi and Grandude came over and spent the night.
