December Days

December was a long, busy month full of fun activities,visitors, sick kiddos, and Christmas Spirit :)

Savannah started preschool at her new school Hope Preschool. She loves it!!

We had a great, quick visit from Mimi and opened our Meece side of the family Christmas presents. Savannah later refereed to the entire weekend as Mimi's Christmas :) Unfortunately, Skylar was sick with some sort of stomach bug while Mimi was visiting, so she spent lots of time helping keeping up with sick laundry and playing with Savannah while we spent hours at the doctor.

Christmas Eve! Tyler was at work all day on Christmas Eve day, but we had a fun visit from KT and Matt and the kids. Then Christmas Eve night Gigi and Grandude came over and spent the night.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Ryan and Jenny and the boys came in town for Thanksgiving, and we all had a great time eating and playing. Tyler spent most of the time working, but everything went smoothly and he had a good first Black Friday at his new store.

Savannah is thankful for her family and her pool that we don't have? Ha

Savannah turns 4!!

Savannah Jane turned 4!! I say this every year and every birthday, but I really can't believe it every time.

They are growing up too fast for this Momma!

Savannah has really come into her own lately. Not that we don't still have our moments ;), but she has really blossomed into such a sweet and caring little girl most of the time. She has more energy than any child I have ever seen! She gives everything 100% all the time- so, when she is sassy...it is knock you down, sassy to the max! And when she is sweet...she is melt your heart sweet. I think alot of our 2 and 3 yr old battles must have been over her feeling frustrated about her lack of independence, because she is so much happier now that she can do more things for herself and make a few more of her own decisions.

She has come soooo far in independence in the last few months! The biggest news is that she is finally (mostly) potty trained! It really took her deciding she was ready and taking ownership of it, and she has done great ever since! We certainly didn't break any records or anything, but two years later I am still just as proud of her! :)She can also get almost completely dressed by herself, which is a HUGE accomplishment and makes my life SO much easier! One less little girl to chase around and get dressed in the morning is amazing! She still needs help with jeans and sometimes things are on backwards, but she is doing it herself!

This spunky four year old keeps us on our toes and we love her to pieces!

In the midst of crazy moving week, we took a day off to celebrate Savannah's birthday and make it as special for her as we could with our circumstances. She was excited to wake up at Gigi and Grandude's house on her birthday!...
