October was the craziest, busiest, month we have had in a long time! Whew! It even makes me tired looking back at the pictures ;) We learned in October that we would be making a huge life transition...moving our family from VA to TN! Ty got offered and accepted a position at a store in Memphis. Once we decided to make the move, the process was fast and furious. Tyler and I both made individual trips to Memphis to prepare for our move. I toured 8 schools looking for the best school for Sky, and we saw at least 25 or 30 houses combined. Gigi and Grandude were very excited about our move, and had so nicely already toured and "ruled out" lots of houses for us! We ended up purchasing a house that I had seen for less than 5 minutes and that we had never seen together, but we love it and are very happy with the area and neighborhood.
We spent LOTS of time out of the house during showings. Sometimes we got to do fun things, and sometimes we were parked on our street stalking the people at our house so we could go home. There was lots of cleaning and vacuuming and running around like a crazy person trying to keep our house organized. All of that on top of our usual rigorous schedule of school, therapies, doctors appointments, and swim lessons. Tyler had to move to Memphis and start working mid month, so the girls and I were on our own. He got to come home to visit one time out of three weeks. I don't want to move again anytime soon!! :) I think we also did a little bit of guilty parenting over compensation for the girls because we felt bad it was such a crazy time for the family. So, we still got to do lots of fun things and if they had to give their opinion about it, they would probably say that they had so much fun all month! (but of course missed Daddy when he was gone)

We had a beautiful and warm October, but not warm enough for the baby pool. We decided it was a little crazy to move a plastic baby pool 13 hours on a moving truck, so we had to take it to the dump.:( This pool was my favorite memory from this summer, and it was a sad sad day to see it go. Actually, I spent most of the month getting really sentimental over all the things I was going to miss in VA. But I will never forget my favorite spot on our deck looking at all the trees and playing in this baby pool!....Happy Days!!

Halloween is finally here! Rapunzel & Cinderella are excited! I was so thankful to have Fegan's help while we were trick or treating! We had perfect weather and didn't even have to worry about a coat. The girls had so much fun and were happy that Fegan could join us too! Skylar wanted to chat with everyone and wear out our welcome ha, but for the most part they both did really well.
Not afraid of creepy Halloween decorations yet!
Checking out all of their candy!...
