Labor Day Weekend

We had the best Labor Day weekend ever!! Tyler was off for the holiday and we avoided all responsibilities and played all weekend! I only kept up with the dishes, and on Tuesday the house was a wreck and laundry was piled up- but it was so worth it to enjoy one last Summer weekend before Skylar started Kindergarten and we are tied down to a school routine. I was very sentimental all weekend about Summer being over and the girls starting school again. I just don't want them to be growing up so quickly! Even though it is really challenging sometimes, I still want to *try* ;) and relish every second of this time because I know we will never get it back.
The girls relished every second too and had a blast swimming and playing with Daddy...

S.A.S.S.Y!  *and picked out her own socks & shoes :)

Labor Day morning we went to the mall to go back to school shopping. Apparently that was everyone else in Richmond's plan too! So, shoes got moved to the back burner and we went on a train ride and window shopped at Nordstrom instead...

Trying on hipster glasses :)
Back to the pool for Labor Day afternoon!

Ready to jump in!...

Savannah makes the funniest faces when she jumps in- & keeps her legs stiff as a board!?
I was in complete denial about school starting the next day. We were one of the last families to leave the pool at almost 7:00....on the night before Kindergarten...haha...But we ended the Summer with a bang!
Beautiful view to end our day...tomorrow brings new adventures!

August Catch Up

August was beautiful this year! We spent lots of great time outside on the deck and at the neighborhood pools. Sky had her usual weekly therapies and a few doctors appointments, but we also got to enjoy many days with no agenda and no schedule- just spending time together and loving being at home for the last month of summer. The days went by too quick, but I think we made the most of them!
Fun Jeep ride to Sonic for dinner...!

They are so big. And I, of course, think they are the cutest girls ever!

I got to go to Tampa for the weekend to see KT! We celebrated her birthday and 20 years of friendship! We did lots of brunching, sitting on her balcony and talking, and a little shopping. Such a fun "schedule-free" weekend!
