Benjamin

Benjamin Merle Richardson arrived Saturday morning! He weighed 8 lbs 9 1/2 ounces and was 21 inches long. He is a big boy! Ryan and Jenny are doing great and are proud new parents. We are so excited to have a nephew and can't wait to get to Nashville and see him.

So Big

We tried to get a picture every month this past year with Skylar and her special bear from Grandude. Somehow we missed her 9 month picture during our crazy move but got some cute pictures otherwise. It is crazy how different she looks now than when she was a newborn.
She got much happier as the months went on:)

Ice Cream Truck

We heard the ice cream truck in our neighborhood while we were on a walk the other night. I haven't seen one in forever- I guess Greenville wasn't cool enough for the ice cream man. I ran back to the house to get some money and came out to see lots of other kids running from their houses waiting to see him turn the corner. It was such a fun classic depiction of what summer should be. We both decided on the Tear Jerker sour popsicle which was SUPER sour even to Tyler who is a sour junkie. Skylar was mesmerized by this dripping red thing we were holding so we gave her a bite. I thought she would be turned off after one taste, but she kept wanting more and would make a hilarious face after each bite.

Hilton Head

We had so much fun in Hilton Head last week with Tyler's family. We had great weather most of the time even though it was supposed to rain at some point every day. We had some amazing dinners and enjoyed eating with the other baby goers and seniors for the early bird specials. Who would have thought a few years ago that we would be going to the beach and eating at 5:30 and then be home by 7:00? We had fun staying in at night though and played lots of cards and games and broke out the ping pong table one night. Our house was great and it was nice having a pool cause we got to have some adult swim time every afternoon while the girls took a nap. Non pregnant vacationers got to enjoy some yummy poolside cocktails.
We hadn't see our niece Caroline since January when she was just first taking a few steps and she is now all over the place and was so cute. She says "Bec, Bec, and T for Tyler, and Ky for Skylar. Caroline was loving the beach by the end of the week and wanted to play in the "wabes." Skylar loved the pool and the ocean and would babble and kick nonstop she was so excited.
Why does vacation have to end!?
