Summer 2015 comes to an end...

We spent our last few weeks before school started enjoying as much sun and summer fun as we could! We had more early mornings at the pool and a few pajama days too :)
Daddy telling jokes from his old joke book that Mimi sent. The girls loved it!

My big, almost Kindergartner shopping for school supplies... She was pretty disappointed that she had to shop for certain folders that didn't include the puppies and kittens folder she wanted... :)
Savannah got a new bike! We had been working on riding with no training wheels for a year now and were not having much success. She had still been riding the teeny tiny bike she's had for years, and I think it was just way too small to get the right feel. So, she got an upgrade to a big girl bike and started making some good progress before too long!
Proud smile!! She loves her big red bike...

Slowly losing our view of the neighborhood pool with two new houses popping up this summer...

Can you tell it's the last week of summer!? This picture cracks me....Skylar is waving something over her head and Savannah is airborne...and there was an explosion in the playroom...
Cute dress up girls...

Little kitchen helper...
Casting for new braces... Savannah wants to be part of it too...
Trying to get a little organized finally...
Blondie Snow White :)

We had a fun afternoon visit from Lauren and Ellie in town from Clemson! Amanda, Harris, and Kt came to see Lauren and visit too! The girls had so much fun together, we wish they lived closer!

Hanging out at Kts!...
Reading with Kt before we headed to pajama night at church...

We went to Lifetime to swim on the last day of summer! Luckily the slide was open and Savannah must have climbed up these stairs and slid down for at least an hour!
I love this face! The carefree face of a sweet 5 year old who loves each day and lives life to the fullest every second that she can! School starts tomorrow, but I wish we could savor this summer a little longer....

Grayton Beach Photographer Pics

This year for our family beach trip, Jenny arranged for an actual photographer to take some family pictures. We have been attempting this ourselves for years, and it is not an easy task! :) I wish we had left it to a professional all those years, because I have to say it was amazing! There was a rain storm coming any minute during our session, so the photographer had us running all around to these different places and the kids thought it was hilarious, so they stayed thoroughly entertained. We had to be so quick that it probably only ended up taking a third of the time that it might have on a beautiful night...but that worked perfect for these kiddos! She had a few props and asked us to do a few poses that I wouldn't have thought to bring or do, but I couldn't be happier with how the pictures turned out! These kids are precious and I'm so happy that we have these moments and ages beautifully captured forever! :)
Thank you Ryan and Jenny!!

Love this picture of the Richardson fam!!

Savannah put her arm around Skylar all on her own...such a sweet little sister!
The photographer gave Sky this shell and told her Ariel was calling lol,,, and this is the sweet sweet face of a little girl who is listening for Ariel...

Love these silly ones too! Of course the kids thought this was great!...
