The Meeces: Grayton Beach 2015

We had another fun, wild beach trip with Gigi, Granddude, and the Richardson crew this summer! It was mostly beautiful weather and we had lots of beach and pool time with cousins!

Trying to eat semi healthy on the road so we can save lots of calories for donuts! :)

We drove in on Friday again and stayed in a little efficiency apartment we found last minute. We went to La Cocina for the first time and it was delicious!

We were so excited to go to Donut Hole for breakfast! But it was not a great morning for everyone and we ended up having to leave :(

We brought some breakfast back to our room and then packed up and looked forward to seeing everyone!

We were able to get into our house in the early afternoon and got the girls beds all set up!

Ryan, Jenny, Gigi, and Granddude all got stuck in bad traffic on the way down and didn't make it until later that night. It was a gorgeous day, so we headed out to the beach for a little while...

We had a great thing worked out for a few nights this year where Gigi and Granddude would go out to dinner early and then we would go out with Ryan and Jenny after we got the kids to bed. The kids enjoyed it too because they got more playtime and less "be good at a restaurant" time lol.

We also learned that the later you go out to dinner, the more silly you get with pre-dinner cocktails at home... Always a good time with R&J!...

This is one of my favorite memories from this trip! Will was in the shade having his Cheetos snack and just passes out while he's eating! So, a little while later he wakes up kindof grumpy and confused, looks around, and says - more snack! He did not like that he woke up without his Cheetos! :)

He plays so hard and is non stop on the beach- digging and swimming and running ALL day!

After another busy afternoon in the sun, they were both ready for a rest on the way to dinner! Both of the boys go hard until they just crash. I am so intrigued by kids that can sleep anywhere, I go a little crazy on the picture documentation lol...

Fun adult dinner at Stinky's! It is always packed and has a looong wait, but we got there late and were able to just wait an hour or so...

I hope these kiddos remember how much they had it made! Donuts, pjs, ipad games, beach time, swimming, constant snacks, and lots and lots of playing with cousins all day!
