We took a last minute trip with Gigi to Orange Beach for a few days over Fall Break! We waited until a few days before we planned to go to see how the weather would be and decided to give it a try. I had never been to the gulf in October, and it was beautiful! Gorgeous cool beach weather, and perfect water and waves. Maybe a little cold for Tyler's taste, but the girls didn't mind! They did pretty well all week! Skylar made it known when she was tired of the beach ;), she preferred to hang out by the pool and hot tub and talk to everyone. She met some new favorite people, Dianne and Alex, that she loved to talk to everyday. And Savannah met a little friend, Kate, on the beach too. They got to play together a couple days...

Ty worked for 12 days straight before our
trip, and was so excited for a few days of "vacation"!

black pod tent! They were pretty amused by it :) ...

fun, kid friendly place with a huge ropes course and big sandpit to play in.
Luckily there were alot of fun things to do because we had to wait 1.5 hours...in October!?

dinner...But we had a great view on the water!...

Last Day!...
Ty and I got to
go out on the last night to Pink Pony Pub! We had been there one time in
college a Long time ago, and they have awesome nachos!
We got to eat outside on the patio...
Piled in on the way home :) ...
And no trip home
is complete without a few, exhausted, sour puss faces :)...
Already planning to go back next year!
