Christmas with Ty's family

We celebrated Christmas with Tyler's family in Knoxville over New Years. It was a quick trip and flew by but it was great to see everyone and was lots of fun. Our niece Caroline is adorable and is always on the move. She has started walking a little already and has such a fun outgoing personality.

1st Teeth

Skylar has her first teeth. She got her first one the week after Thanksgiving and now has three. I love her little teeth but miss her gummy smile too. She has been drooling a ton but hasn't been too fussy. The top one has really come through in the last couple days.

This picture shows her tiny sprig of hair she has grown on the top of her head too. Still a while before we need any pigtails.

Christmas with Becca's Family

We got to celebrate Skylar's first Christmas in Greenville with some of my family. It was great to see everyone and we had a wonderful time.

All of the shenanigans being used to make Skylar smile worked on Tyler and I...but not so much Skylar:)Hanging out with Grandude and playing with her new rattle. You can't really tell here...but I am going to have a new niece or nephew in June. We are so excited that Ryan and Jenny are having a baby!
Tasting some avocado durning dinner.
Ryan and Jenny getting some bath time practice.

We decided to go for a walk on Christmas night because it was so nice and we all needed to burn some calories. It really wasn't that cold, but I am over protective and bundled Skylar up anyway. She looked so cute.

Knoxville Pictures

Here are some of the pictures that Minde's friend Denise took while we were in Knoxville. She took a couple hundred but these are some of my favorites. Skylar wanted to stick her tongue out all day but I think Denise got some great shots. It is very hard to get a 5 and 8 month old both looking at the camera...we were acting like fools trying to keep their attention and make them smile.
Thanks Aunt Minde for the matching outfits!
