Savannah is turning 5 years old! I can't believe she is 5 already, it doesn't seem possible. She is such a character and keeps us on our toes at all times! Savannah still has more energy than I've ever seen, and pretty much only has one speed- turbo. :) She is our little energizer bunny! She can be very contrary and stubborn when she wants to be, but is also hilarious (whether she intends to be or not), bright, competitive, compassionate, accepting, patient,and getting sweeter by the year!:) One of her best qualities is what a great sister she is to Skylar. Her love for Skylar shows in everything she does and is so sweet to see!
For Skylar's 5th birthday we took a little overnight trip to Great Wolf Lodge water park, about an hour and a halk outside of Richmond. They had so much fun, and we wanted to be able to treat Savannah to the same exciting 5th birthday. Unfortunately, the closest indoor water park was 8 hours away lol, but we made a fun long weekend of it and ended up getting to see all of our Knoxville family too! Savannah had a mini birthday party every day for almost a week. She could not have had a better 5th birthday! :)

The next day we hung out and played for a little while and then headed up to Wilderness at the Smokies Resort...
Rod brought the girls these fun refillable Icee cups, so it is November and they are enjoying red Icees! :)

We forgot to bring a beach bag or anything with us, so we had to carry all of our gear in a cheap garbage bag through the hotel to the water park. I was laughing the whole way there - classy!
More fun on the slide! Pure squeals and laughter all the way down! We went down as many times as we could until we were too tired to carry Skylar up all those stairs again! :)
