We started the new year off with sweet Skylar still recovering from her tonsil and adenoidectomy. She was such a good patient! She wouldn't eat sometimes and went a few days without much to eat or drink at all, but she stayed mostly positive and happy about it the whole time. Sometimes she would put her hand up to her mouth and make this pitiful face and I'm sure she was in so much pain, poor thing. She definitely didn't get any extra rest to help her recover, but she played and stayed busy and was happy to have Savannah home to entertain her too.

Savannah certainly lucked out with some extra popsicles and treats during recovery too... Skylar is double fisting popsicles lol...

About a week after surgery, Sky had this crazy rash go through her body and show up in a few different places. I still don't know what that was about and it went away in a couple days, but it was enough to worry me a little bit. Skylar is always throwing us for a loop! :)

Skylar pretty much hated everything about being in the snow and sledding and finally whined her way into us sitting in the car. But Savannah had so much fun and could have played there for hours!
