Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter weekend this year! It was a gorgeous weekend and we did yard work on Saturday and took a trip to the Botanical Garden on Sunday.
We didn't make it to church this year- it's terrible I know, but we don't have a church home at the moment where we feel comfortable leaving Skylar in any of the kids programs. She obviously doesn't need to go to the nursery, but she needs too much assistance to go to the big kids room all by herself yet. She's not ready to sit through big church yet either, but hopefully as she gets more independent we can find a great toddler class for her. Until then, we keep enjoying our Sundays together and loving that Tyler doesn't work weekends anymore.
The girls had a great time playing with their surprises from the Easter Bunny!
Skylar got a new 80's looking Ken doll and Savannah got some princess saloning accessories..

Cute Hairdos

The girls get their hair cut at this fun place called Divas and Dudes. They have lots of different chairs to choose from that are basically power wheels converted into salon chairs. The girls favorites are the Dora Jeep and Barbie car. And they get a sucker and a "Tinkenbell" stamp.....so they get pretty excited to get haircuts!
The stylist always does their hair so cute after she cuts it!

Busy March

We had a really busy month with therapy and visitors, but we tried to enjoy the beautiful weather too as much as we could with lots of fun trips to the park.
Skylar participated in another three week long intensive physical therapy session. She was such a trooper and worked really hard! Her walking is looking SO much better now and she is taking a lot more independent steps.

Getting ready for her obstacle course

We had visits from both Gigi and Mimi while they were on Spring Break from school and the girls loved getting to see them. Savannah didn't know what to do with herself after two full weeks of non-stop attention from grandmothers.

We loved our warm weather! I wish it would stay like this all summer!

Playing with our buddies at the park

Skylar still needs lots of motivation to get her walking, but she loves to walk to everyone. You just say "walk to Daddy" ...or whoever... and she gets excited. She starts walking to you and gets a huge smile on her face that makes you feel like the most important person in the world for a second.
Here she is happy to be walking to Fegan!
Love this proud little face!
