Day 3 Horse Back Riding

We started our Saturday morning with a horse back ride at the Village. I think we were already riding by 8 am. We literally barely slept all week and packed in every single thing we could lol! The whole horse back riding operation, like everything there, was run completely by volunteers. They bring the horses to the Village two mornings a week for rides. Volunteers ride with or walk beside all the kids to provide them with whatever level of support they need. The little girl that rode before us was in a power chair and they helped her right up on her horse like it was no big deal. It is so amazing for the parents that there is a place like Give Kids the World Village where all kids have equal opportunity to do everything that kids love to do, and that might be a challenge for them to do at home. I still can't believe how many sweet people give their time all week, and even on a Saturday morning at 7:30, to help make these kids dreams come true.
The Village had lots of different wagons and strollers that families could borrow to get around. We got to use a cool tiger Jeep! Savannah is still sleepy and Skylar is ready to go and excited to see the horses!
Skylar and Daddy. The kids even got cowboy hats to keep! Skylar kept telling the volunteers (really loudly) Howdy Partner!
Skylar headed down the path...
I think this guy is having as much fun watching Sky as she is riding her horse...

Tiny Savannah's turn...she looked so little up on her horse.

Day 2 Hollywood Studios

After a quick nap and resting up from breakfast with the princesses, we were off to Hollywood Studios. We were hoping Skylar would be excited to see one of her favorites, Woody, but she was still scared to death of him. Savannah loved seeing Jesse, Woody, and Buzz Lightyear. She really loved riding the Toy Story ride and getting to shoot at all the targets with the play gun. Luckily, we found another really fun play area where the girls could run around and explore. Skylar's favorite part was a waterfall wall that you could stick your hands in and get wet.
(more cute outfits from the Hurst's!)

Worn out crew...

Back at the Village on our nightly (& sometimes twice nightly) walk to the ice cream shop. Throw in another caroussel ride just because we can, and we finished off another jam packed day!
Skylar's favorite...walking around the Village! She is doing so good with her walking and was so motivated by all the cool stuff to look at. She walked a ton all week!
She is almost running at the end of this video! :)

Day 2 Epcot

We skipped the Village characters our second morning and headed off to Disney World for breakfast with the princesses! We had a tired Cinderella and Rapunzel on our hands! Until they saw all of the other little princesses waiting for breakfast and then they were so excited and running around. We got in to Epcot for breakfast before the park opened for the day. It was such a beautiful morning and a pretty walk to the restaurant with no huge crowds. We had a little while before our reservation, so the girls got to explore and meet some friends. We got to see Belle when we first walked in. Skylar loved Belle and Aururo, but not so much Cinderella, Ariel, or Snow White. She had to leave breakfast for a little while to get away from the noise for a bit. Through the course of the week, we ended up realizing that Skylar was not going to be happy when we were around lots of noise. Unfortunate because Disney is like the loudest place EVER. She would be upset for a little while, and then she would recover and be SO excited to see another prince/princess. And then be scared again of a loud noise or a Mickey type character. Poor thing was on an emotional roller coaster all week.
Early start at Epcot...

Waiting for breakast...

Meeting Belle..

Breakfast..

Savannah got to hold Aurora's hand during the little princess parade! I think Aurora could tell she has a wild spark in her eye and that it might be best to keep a hand on this one :) Savannah thought it was great!

A quick change of clothes after breakfast and we were ready to go explore the rest of Epcot...
Aunt Minde gave us so many cute outfits for our trip!

Nemo!

We finally made it to the character spot on our way out of Epcot...Savannah was so cute meeting everyone and especially loved Donald Duck.

So happy to see Donald!
We headed home for a nap after a really fun morning...
