Day 3 Horse Back Riding

We started our Saturday morning with a horse back ride at the Village. I think we were already riding by 8 am. We literally barely slept all week and packed in every single thing we could lol! The whole horse back riding operation, like everything there, was run completely by volunteers. They bring the horses to the Village two mornings a week for rides. Volunteers ride with or walk beside all the kids to provide them with whatever level of support they need. The little girl that rode before us was in a power chair and they helped her right up on her horse like it was no big deal. It is so amazing for the parents that there is a place like Give Kids the World Village where all kids have equal opportunity to do everything that kids love to do, and that might be a challenge for them to do at home. I still can't believe how many sweet people give their time all week, and even on a Saturday morning at 7:30, to help make these kids dreams come true.
The Village had lots of different wagons and strollers that families could borrow to get around. We got to use a cool tiger Jeep! Savannah is still sleepy and Skylar is ready to go and excited to see the horses!
Skylar and Daddy. The kids even got cowboy hats to keep! Skylar kept telling the volunteers (really loudly) Howdy Partner!
Skylar headed down the path...
I think this guy is having as much fun watching Sky as she is riding her horse...

Tiny Savannah's turn...she looked so little up on her horse.
