Skylar turns 6!

It is hard to believe that six years have passed since we brought Skylar home from the hospital, but here she is- one of the sweetest six year olds you will ever know. It has been quite the journey, but we could not be more proud of what she has accomplished in her short six years.
To know her is to love her. And that is the truth. She wins over everyones heart who she meets. She has her testing moments for sure, but she always comes back to that 'win you over' smile and that sweet sweet heart. 

At the moment Skylar's favorite things are Barbies of any kind, coloring of any kind, and her Sister!! She can not get enough of all of the above! :) She loves Savannah more than I ever could have imagined and is happiest when she is with her. She loves everyone in her family and gets so excited when all of her "people" are together. And don't walk out of the room on her, because she keeps track and will ask about you constantly until you return ;) 

We spent a hot morning at the zoo and then had a small family party to celebrate her birthday on the Sunday before her Monday birthday. She got lots of fun presents and enjoyed her yummy coloring cake!

Savannah got a present too! An early Halloween costume ;)
