We have a local therapeutic horseback riding organization that does great work with kids with special needs. I had heard great things from some other parents, and we thought we would give it a try. Savannah had a BLAST! Skylar was a little less enthusiastic, but she loved talking about it after :) ...she liked talking about her horse Winston more than she liked riding him.
They have a giant pot belly pig that lives in the stables too...
