After we got home from the beach, Skylar started her three week summer school session for a few hours each morning. She missed Hope VBS because of school, but she did enjoy seeing Mr. Michael and all her people every day. :) The rest of June we had our normal appointments, and tried to swim, play outside, and play with Rosie and her fam as much as we could!

One Saturday morning when Ty was off, we signed up for a Nature Walk with the Germantown Parks Special Rec dept.. They had the fire department come too and show off their new mini ambulance they can take on the trails... the girls thought it was super cool!
Savannah loved collecting things for her nature bracelet....such a cute idea with just tape...
After our hike, Ty went for a run on the trails and I took the girls to the park. Then we all met up for a visit to Gigi and Granddude's since we were close by...
After hearing Tyler talk about a race downtown that night, Gigi offered to babysit and we got to run the Gibson Guitar 5k! It was my first race in years and Tyler's second run of the day!
I think we did pretty well in the Memphis muggy heat!

There was about a 10 minute downpour that came out of nowhere and cleared a lot of people out...but it helped cool things off a bit!

More backyard pool time! :) I finally figured out the perfect tiny spot in the backyard that gets shaded by the house in the late afternoon...and we spent lots of summer afternoons there!
